Class gathering was funnnnnnn. :D Fail in the sense that we didn't play any games we planned. :/ Musical chairs + pin the tail on the donkey. But it was certainly fun hanging out with 4U again. Possibly for the last time with so many of them? I hardly talked to some of them though. Ah well. The sleepover at Angel's house was my first! So exciting omg. We played Twister and had this massive gossip session till early morning. Went to bathe and then continued. I fell asleep quite early I think. Like, at about 5am. I woke up and was quite shocked to find Melissa, Simin and Vanessa gone! So I stumbled out of.. the mattress and went to find them. Turns out they went to the sofa to sleep. -.- Weird people. Siaoyi woke up after me! Yay good girl. :) We went for breakfast after stoning at the TV for awhile. Okay I was stoning at it. Since they were watching tennis and I don't really like watching it. BREAKFAST WAS GOOOOOOOOOOD. Prata. I think the walk was worth it hurhur. I was happy and full after eating. Went home. Did nothing. O: Thursday, January 21, 2010 / 10:56 PM

I spent my entire day at Northpoint yesterday! I was late as usual. But this time was because I was reading a book! So it's valid reason for being late. Met OTTer at Northpoint to accomplish my greatest achievement since 2010 started. WE FINISHED LET'S GO JUNGLE! Or Jungle Safari as we call it. It's completely addictive and really challenging. We play the roles of Norah and Ben and start off in a Jeep killing spiders. Soon, our guide dies and we're left to our own devices! Devices of course, refers to our guns (yay!) and .. paddles I think. To hit the gross frogs with. I really don't like frogs. Anyway. After we finish the first stage, we get to choose where to go. So we usually go to the River Cruise thing. Which leads us to frogs, gross blood sucking eel like things, flying fish and all that. We even lose our guns! D: So we use the paddles to kill the frogs. After the River Cruise, we go to the elephant ride! I LOVE THIS PART. We stumble into an abandoned village with chickens running around. With nothing to shoot, Ben and Norah (OTTer and I) shoot the chickens. HAHA. Nothing happens to the chickens of course :/ Then we realise there a bigger fish to fry. Or in this case, more spiders to kill. So we bang bang bang them. :D We escape from another spiders (Too many spiders I know. But it's all the mushroom fault!) and hear a voice of a boy. I LOVE THE BOY. He has a Baljeet accent. Maybe worse idk. BUT IT'S REALLY SUPER FUNNY. We end up speaking like him after every game. Ya that aside, we help him save his elephant in return for a ride to the he-li-port ~ (the way he says it). At the heliport, we learn that it's the mushrooms (growing out from the drums!) that cause all the bad stuff to happen. THEN WE BATTLE MEDUSAAAAAAAAAAA. AKA the Venus Fly Trap thing that keeps growing. This is the most challenging part! Because it never seems to die D: Finally, we kill it and get rescued by the.. rescuers. The boy gives Norah his necklace that looks really ugly. But Ben says it looks good on her. Maybe the blue beads matches her eyes or something. ANYWAY. We get on the helicopter and learn more about the island. Then suddenly! The giant butterflies attack. How disappointing. I thought that butterflies were nice and fluttery. So we kill the butterflies. BUT THEN WE MISSED THE LAST PART!! So Ben and Norah didn't end up together and.. a stupid mushroom was growing out of the back of the neck of the man driving the helicopter!! So OTTer and I were very excited thinking more was to come. Then we saw the credits -.- But at least we finished the game! Finally. After three tries. Or more. We went to Swensens for the lunchtime one for one deal. Hurhur it's very good and worth it. :D After eating I accidentally spilt my glass of water. D: But not the point. I cannot be trusted with liquid these days. Reference to how just the day before I spilt two cups of Milo in my daddy's car. The library was our next stop. Read up on SEE and finally decided to borrow the book because we were making too much noise in the library! I now know how to sign: Emergency! Accident. Both dead. HAHAHAHAHA. So you know who to call if you witness and accident with two people dead and have a deaf person near you.. Okay never mind. We went to find Emily and Isaac after that. Brought Emily around shopping to find clothes she needed for her job. Ended up buying everything at G2000. Omg awesome discountttttttt. I felt giddy looking at the discount hurhur. OTTer got a good discount on CDs too. One for a dollar. I love discounts. LOL. I think I must have been around Melissa too long. :/ Met Brian after that and we wanted to go Macs to eat ice cream. But we brought them to Ishimura instead. YAY I LOVE THAT PLACEEEEEE. Studying there (Y) OTTer and I bought Raspberry milk and the rest bought food. AND BORING DRINKS. I don't understand why they don't wna buy the cool drinks and buy F&N drinks. O: Stoned for awhile then passed Emily my iPod where she entertained herself watching Idol Army. Idol Army loveeeeeee. :D Then OTTer and I joined Isaac and Brian who were playing a .. random card game? idk. They just opened random cards to see who got the highest scoring card. I WIN AT IT HAHAHA YAYYYYY. :D We played Cheat/Bluff after we got tired of it. Omg super funnnn. :D Stupid OTTer always bluffs. Isaac too! Tsk. After that we played Truth or Dare. Okay no dare actually. :/ Just truths. We asked the weirdest questions. OH AND OTTer AND I HAD A GOOD TIME CLAPPING AND MAKING UP OUR NEW IJ HAHAHAHAHAHA LOVES. :D But it was really really fun! Went back to the arcade to play Starball. :D Then went back to Bishan with Brian. Bought my book. Went home. Read another book. Went to sleep. YAYYYYYYYYY. :D I had a fun time yesterday. / 10:39 AM

So many to SA, AJ, NY. Why are they all leaving meee. I won't even be in the same school as Jomain! I found planning the thing quite intimidating at first :/ But once we got started, it was pretty fun! All the nonsense we came up with haha. Best thing is, so far most people seem to be able to come! It's great to see it coming together. I wonder if it's gna be the last time we'll gather together. :/ Anywayyy holidays are ending soon D: Omg I really don't know what to blog about. My life seems so boring and I haven't had many coherent/deep thoughts about life recently. Unless you count fantasizing about muffins a deep thought. Let's see. Ah results. :/ Not gonna elaborate on it. I did way better than expected and I'm really grateful for it. Quite disappointed for certain subjects but overall I'm really really happy about my grades :D Thanks everyone who encouraged me (ahem, supportive!OTTer) Hopefully I can get into the JC I want. Pity about it not having the subject I really want to take though. I hope everyone gets into the JC they want to go though :D Going to open houses was quite interesting. :D But next year I'll be the one involved in open house! Haha so exciting! I've got ballet todayyy :D Super super. I haven't been for ballet for like, 2 weeks? I've become this big blob of jelly now. I jigels hahah. So I'm quite excited for ballet! Meeting Yingxin and Corryne for lunch before ballet first. I feel quite.. apprehensive about it? I have completely no idea how things will turn out. Hopefully we'll have a lot of things to talk about and be able to click. :D I hate feeling awkward in a group of people. This week has been fun going out so much! Quite tiring though. But then again, it's my last few days of freedom! :D So Monday was with Vanessa, Benjamin, his friend and Calvin to Marina Barrage for a fake!Picnic. And then we left Benjamin and his friend to go arcade at Iluma! :D :D Tuesday was with JonK to go eat Popeye's. Wl I felt so fat after that. But the food's not bad I suppose. Hung around AMK for awhile playing his new NDS. I LOOOOOOOVE IT. Especially the Yoshii game since it is brainless and I win at it. HAH. Went to J8 and played with his NDS again. Love love love the link play. And I'm way jealous of his NDS D: Wednesday was a chiongster day haha. Met OTTer at Yishun BEFORE EATING BREAKFAST GAHH. Walked around till it was 11am to chiong into the arcade to play my favourite game! Jungle Safari or something. I LOVE IT HAHA. Shoot the stupid mosquitoes! And spiders. AND FROGS HAHA. We spent 23 dollars on the game and omg we STILL didn't finish it. Stupid Venus Fly Trap like thing was disgusting and multiplying. D: Went to Bugis after losing our 23 dollars to find Lardy and Smin! :D To go to Iluma to playyyyy. The Trivia game wasn't that fun this time. We played another game! The starball one. SO FUNNN HAHA. Because Lardy and Smin would spasm at throwing the balls and OTTer and I would spasm laughing at them. I was quite tired after playing that. Collected the tickets and spent another eternity choosing what to get with our tickets. I LOVE THE DISNEY PRINCESS FILE I GOT YAY. :D Went to Marina to eat Pizza Hut because I wanted to eat it. And caused OTTer to be late for SPY. D: D: D: Sorry sorry OTTer. Lardy, Smin and I went around City Hall after that. Esplanade was fun with them. :D Went to the top and chatted/took pictures. :) I love Lardy and Smin! WALKED back to Bugis after that because I had to go find Emily and the rest. AND WE DIDN'T GET LOST THANKS TO LARDY'S NAVIGATION YAYY. Super Lardy :D Met up with Emily, Isaac, Darylene, Brian and Xun Yi and said bye to Lardy and Smin D: We went to J8 after thatttt. :D Sat there and played cards till my mum called me to go home. :D It was a lovely dayyy :D Ah. OTTer showed me this ridiculous post about a woman asking OCBC for a cake just because of an ad that promised her nothing. Well, that's the summarised version of the story. The full version is here. My first reaction was: WTH WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE WOMAN. Is it just me or does it sound absolutely stupid to ask a BANK for a cake. And the tone of her article was totally lacking in sympathy for the staff who might not even known about the ad in the first place. (I know I haven't seen the ad before.) So my next words to OTTer went something like this, Woman: BANK. I WANT CAKE !! Bank: Orh you wait ah.. Woman: I WANT CAKE AND I WANT IT NAO. Bank: We're getting it! Woman: GIMME CAKE. ARE YOU TRYNA MISLEAD ME. Bank: .. your cake. Woman: FAKE CREAM!! DOESN'T MELT IN THE HEAT. ARE YOU ASKING ME TO EAT THIS?! I'M GNA STOMP THIS. So, being quite intrigued by this unreasonable/mad woman, I decided to check out the ad to see if the bank really went "Hey! Is it your birthday? Come over and we'll give you a big edible cake that's not full of fake cream!" AND THE AD DIDN'T MENTION GIVING CAKES AT ALL WTH SO ANNOYING. So I was very annoyed and decided to read more about it. AND WHOOPEEDOO. The woman has a blog! (Unsurprisingly given that she seems like such an attention seeker.) [Surprisingly since I thought only uneducated women did bo liao things like that.] I'm too lazy to blog everything out since OTTer and I have laughed at her till everything she does is funny already. So I'll just CNP. BIRDLAND says: I had deliberately given OCBC a non-existent address because it's the only way to stop the bank from sending me bits of paper every month. SHE DOES THIS AND SHE EXPECTS A CAKE ?! Woman : Oh I going bank later ah . Friend : Withdraw money ? Woman : No . TO GET FREE CAKE !!!!!!!!!!111 Friend : Omg i want also!! Woman: NO YOU CANNOT GET. It's REALLY my birthday! I'M GNA SHOW THEM MY IC AND FAKE ADDRESS OKAY. Don't steal my cake. BIRDLAND says: It was topped with a heap of artificial cream, the kind that doesn't melt in Singapore's tropical heat and I never eat. Frankly, my homemade cakes are way better. My right eyelid has been twitching for quite a few days! Naturally, I was quite worried about it because I remember eyelid twitching signifies something bad? And the O Level results are coming back soon! So I went to google it. And gosh there are so many superstitions! But I realised there were scientific explanations for it too. -.- But the superstitions all vary so much! An old Chinese saying about twitching eyelids says that "the twitching of the left eyelid indicates the coming of good fortune; while the right one is a warning about the coming bad luck." So while a twitch in the left eye indicates good luck or even a major gold rush, a twitching right eye is considered a bad omen which foretells of ill luck headed your way! In women the tables are turned as a twitching right eye signifies good luck while a twitching left one is considered a bad prognostic. So since I'm Chinese I SHALL BELIEVE THIS. is over! I suppose I should do some reflective post on the past year? Hmm. Not like I got anything better to do now anyway. Note: It's really really very wordy. So unless you're prepared to fall asleep, I recommend you only read what you wna read.
On school / studies I think this year has really stretched me a lot. I have never tried to cram so much into my brain for just one day of regurgitation. I mean, there seemed to always been hints and all. But the O levels were really just like, a huge mystery. Obviously we all spotted but no one could really tell what would come out. I feel quite lucky though, that what I studied for mostly came out. I think studying with friends was okay, but maybe not that conducive? It was great fun though. I remember studying with Jomain in Yishun for prelims. I remember studying with Vanessa and a whole lot of other people in Bishan for the Os. I remember trying (but failing on so many levels) to revise Literature with OTTer. I remember studying with Jun Hoe in Indian Summer for ... a lot of things. These study sessions made up a big part of my year. I really learnt a lot during those times. :D My last year in SN was quite bittersweet. The end was VERY anti-climatic and I really can't say if I think it's a good thing or bad. I mean, I felt secure in SN. I know I've been really sheltered there. Going out to JC scares me. Starting over scares me. In Sec 1, there was once when I couldn't wait to leave SN. And now it's over. I'll be leaving the environment that I got really comfortable in. I really like the family environment we have there. Ah well. Time to moooove on! :D My studies have been average I suppose. There were some highs, and mostly quite lows. But hopefully it'll be good when it really matters. I don't think my parents want me to go to Poly. I know I can't go there. Not because I discriminate against them but rather because I have no goal yet. So I wouldn't know what course to take. I've been thinking about the JC/Poly thing for awhile and I still think the JC route will be the best for me. All that's left is choosing a JC. Hopefully I'll get many many choices :D :D Haha I'm an optimistic girl. On CCA I LOVE MY CCA. Truly. I love being a librarian. I love the people there. I love the fact that we aren't a big CCA. I love that I know almost everyone there. I love that we have aircon. I love it all. But I remember when I was so ashamed of my CCA. I am not deluded or brainwashed. Even I know that Library isn't the most glamorous CCA out there. But who cares about that? I am a librarian and I'm proud of it. I haven't done the normal library duties for YEARS. Since Sec2 I think. Not that I'm complaining of course. Being in the committee has taught me alot. I learnt how to talk to a group of people who weren't listening to you. I learnt to research. I learnt to work with people. I learnt to plan. I'm glad I chose Library over Infocomm or other CCAs. :D I know people look down on Library. Like, 'Library? Omg so slack!!' I'd like to SLAP those people. Librarians WORK. Granted, we don't do anything under the hot sun. But we do stuff. We don't sit in the aircon all day doing nothing. Urgh. Thinking about this makes me quite angry. I really hope that one day, people will be able to change their opinion of librarians. Because we really are a cool bunch. My love. :D Library has given me really good friends like Gar and Vanessa and Rooth. Library has given me Scrabble. One thing I found that I was not bad at. Library has given me opportunities to do things I wouldn't normally do. (Doing the board? Urgh.) AIYA A LOT LA. Wo ai Library. (L) I'll miss Library alot. D: On dance Not mincing words, I know that I am not a good dancer. I'm not good at ballet yet, despite doing it for almost 11 years. But I am improving I think. I suppose as I grow up, I become more mature and more ready to put my all into ballet. Sometimes I see the senior dancers in my school and go 'omg how do they do that.' Then I remember they're around my age. And if I try, I just might be able to be a fraction as good as them. So this year, I'm going to try as hard as I can to dance well. :D Wish me luck! On family I start to appreciate my family alot more after everything. I really hope that one day, we'll all be happy kids again. (: On music taste 2009 was really the year of KPop. I have been a fan of BoA since.. sec2 maybe? But I never really listened to other KPop artists. (Okay BoA is mainly JPop but she's Korean. So yeah.) So thanks to Chloe, Siaoyi and allkpop, I now am a verified KPop fan. :D On books I read trashy novels. HAHAHA. I suppose you can tell that I have nothing more to rant about. -.- Okay I shall go eat before coming back to continue. I'm too lazy to continue reflecting. I think Phineas and Ferb are very cool. Especially Ferb. I love how he speaks so little but does so much! He's such a man of action. :D
Oh and I ship dramione from Harry Potter. I mean like, Draco and Hermione are SO MEANT TO BE ! Opposites attract and all that jazz. Yay dramione!
I also ship Phineas/Isabelle and Perry/Dr. Doofenshmirtz(Phineas and Ferb!), Melissa/Wheeze (Dadnapped!), CASMUND! (TCoN) and I forgot what. ): But I support a lot of pairings! Mainly dramione though; it is my first love! :D
I like lots of cartoon characters too! Like, Perry the Platypus (Agent P!), DANNY PHANTOM!, Ferb, Ribena (is it counted?), DISNEY PRINCESSES! and a lot others ): I really have quite a terrible memory.
In case you think I'm a some deprived teenager, I'm not! I watch Hannah Montana too. :D Oh and I love Disney Channel Orignal Movies! My favourites include Dadnapped, Pixel Perfect (THEY HAVE TO SHOW IT AGAIN.), Cadet Kelly, Wendy Wu, and pretty much almost every movie I've watched. (HSM doesn't have to be included. Because it's a given that I like it.)
I listen to quite a variety of songs! Hmmm. I listen to retro!Songs (BBDBQ!), KPOP/JPOP (I stalk allkpop. It's good for you.), normal!Pop, the occasional noisy!Song, nice!Soundtracks, catchy!Songs, and many others. So I really don't have a all time favourite song. I just have favourite song of the moment. Even that's hard to decide. D:
In case you've read to here and have started to think I'm some psycho in serious need of counselling, I'm not! Haha I just happen to like cartoons and stuff like that. It's not so wrong is it? I have normal likes too I assure you. Let's see.
